lower-end phones, you may need to download them from a

How do I make a good polyphonic ringtone?
Obviously, there isn't one single answer to this. However, from our experience, we've discovered a few universal truths about what goes into a good polyphonic ringtone. First of all, you do not need lots of voices to make a good sound. Simple lines work best. Things are less confusing that way. Don't use too many instruments! The more instruments you use, the more memory is required to play your ringtone. Remember you're usually dealing with a very small speaker with very limited frequency response. Don't use the extremes of the instrument ranges - you might not hear them, and you'll just be wasting voices!

I cannot enter the numbers your software gives me into the phone, the phone will only
let me enter notes, or letters. When I try to type the number 2 for example,
my phone displays the letter C. Help!
Ignore what the phone displays while you press the keys, if you key the numbers into
the phone in the sequence given your tone will work!
The Ringtone converter does not need you to know anything about
music, notes, octaves etc, it takes the tones in the RTTTL or Nokia Composer format and changes these to the key press
sequences.
As an example, on some Motorola mobiles, if the tone you are entering needs a 'D'
the converter will show 22, telling you to press the number 2 key twice to generate that note,
so by just trying the numbers and ignoring the display everything should work for you.

-> If a ringtone plays too fast or slow on my phone than in the Plinksoft Ringtone Composer, how should I do?
If your phone asks to set the tempo, you should set the same value with the tempo edit box.
Or you can simply use the speed up or the speed down tool in the toolbar to fine tune it.

Why I can't reversely convert the ringtone press key
sequence of a certain phone to the Nokia Composer format
text?
First
check if you have correctly selected the brand and model
for the ringtone press key sequence, then compare the
format of the ringtone press key sequence with the
example. In a general way, the Plinksoft Ringtone
Composer can handle the most formats of ringtone press
key sequence. These formats usually only have a bit
difference, such as position of blank etc and you can
simply adjust it.
