Convert
a Midi file into a ringtone for your phone
Midi
files are complex files often containing thousands of
notes, and many channels. The Plinksoft Ringtone
Composer makes this task as simple as possible!
Step
1 - Open a Midi file
To
start, click the 'File' menu, then 'Open Midi File'. You
should now be asked to select the midi file you would
like to convert. Choose a midi file, and click on the
'Open' button. Then you also can click on the 'play'
button on the midi toolbar to start playing the midi
file.
Step

The
'current track' drop down list contains all channels of
the midi file, such as channel 1 or channel 8 etc. Choose
a channel from this list. Then you can click on the 'play'
button below the melody text edit box to listen to the
channel, repeat to choose until you find out the channel
containing main melody of song.
Step

Because
most standard phones can handle between 35 and 70 notes in
their ringtone, you must edit these notes by removing its
head and tail. You can play, pause, stop to select notes
which you would like to convert into ringtone.

Finally
select the brand and model of your phone, then just click
'>>' convert button to get ringtone press key
sequence.
